We had a wonderful stay at this well-decorated hostel. the beds were comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful. We loved the free internet access and the convenience of being a short distance from the Komtar bus station. There were plenty of food stores nearby, and we especially enjoyed exploring Little India, which was not far away. the highlight of our stay was the amazing shower, which was the best we experienced throughout our entire trip in Malaysia. Plus, the constant availability of coffee, creamer, tea, and water was a nice touch. the staff was always kind and friendly, and the location on Kimberley Road was ideal. Both the Komtar bus terminal and the Jetty Terminal were easily reachable within a short walking distance. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property. 😊.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Georgetown for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the city's top attractions and delicious eateries. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with great tips for exploring the area. The hotel lounge was spacious and beautifully decorated with a fusion of modern and olden Peranakan style, creating a unique atmosphere. It was definitely value for money and I will definitely book early next time to ensure availability!
I do recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Kimberley House for a few nights during my trip to Penang. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel's location was ideal, with many great restaurants nearby, including a delicious dim sum breakfast place right next door. It was also conveniently close to Komtar, a major bus station and shopping mall, as well as within walking distance of various sights, such as the Blue Mansion. The hotel itself was quite spacious, and my single room had a cool and unique decoration.

Great value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the area without needing transportation. The public shower rooms are clean and convenient, providing everything you need for a refreshing shower.
The beds could be more comfortable, as the springs could be felt. There was also noise from the upstairs rooms, which made it difficult to sleep.

Friendly and Informative Staff
During my recent stay at Kimberley House, we were impressed by the helpful and knowledgeable staff. They went out of their way to provide us with instructions on how to navigate the hostel, including turning off the lights late at night when we had to work. Additionally, they offered complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day, adding a nice touch to our stay. The hostel itself boasts a beautiful, traditional design with high ceilings reminiscent of old Chinese houses. The rooms were regularly cleaned, maintaining a pleasant and tidy environment.
Although the lack of interaction among guests due to the spacious layout was slightly disappointing, it did not overshadow the overall positive experience.
